RACE CAR DRIVER DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT

RACING CAMP PROGRAMS

We teach the fundamentals to drive race cars at a professional level.

We use current pro spec Ligier F4 and F3 series race

cars; with unlimited track time from 9 am - 5 pm.

​

 Following successful racing camps, we can organize competition licenses and create customized driver development programs including race competition.

CAMP PROGRAMS

Racing camps include intensive instruction utilizing our current pro spec Ligier race cars used in the F4 US and Formula Regional Americas Championship, which is the first step in the Formula One driver development ladder system.  What drivers learn during 3-day racing camps:​​

>  Basic operation of F4 / F3 race cars

>  Principles of vehicle dynamics

>  Optimal driver input application

>  Understanding G stretch capability

 >  Understanding optimal lap times

>  Computer data analysis

VELOX racing camps provide the fundamental building blocks for young drivers aspiring to professional careers in Formula 1 and IndyCar.

VELOX has a program for guest drivers to compete in select races in the F4 US and Formula Regional Americas series, which are the first and second American steps of Formula One's driver development ladder.

We have one race seat available on our Formula Regional Americas team for the below races: ​

Road America ( Wisconsin )

May 18-21, 2023

Mid-Ohio​

June 22-25, 2023

​

USA GUEST DRIVER PROGRAM INCLUDES:

​

  • two private test days to learn the Ligier F4 and F3 race cars

​

  • one test day to learn the circuit of the select race

​

  • F4 or Formula Regional event including three (3) races

Ligier chassis with Honda engines and Hankook tires are the specification cars used in the F4 US and Formula Regional championships. 

 

Ligier F4 race cars utilize normally aspirated engines and are capable of top speeds in the 135 mph range.

 

Ligier Formula Regional race cars utilize 303 horsepower turbo-charged engines capable of top speeds in the 155 mph range.

​

Video below is one of our team drivers who started on the front row for the F4 US series feature race at Circuit of the Americas at the United States Grand Prix last year, racing in front of a huge crowd just hours before the Formula One race.
